To get myself in the right mindset for a larger project that I've been trying to get going for a couple of years now (I have an actual hand drawn sketch and everything…), I decided that it might be a good idea to start small. I noticed that some of the gryphons in later seasons of MLP had varied face shapes in that they weren't all eagle heads like mythology trends toward. One of the chickubs from the series finale definitely looked owlish. So with a little pinch of Fluttershy's friend Hummingway, I present this diminutive specimen that I can't come up with a good name for. My wife suggested "Pickles," but that's not a name for a gryphon.
