Six Fanarts Challenge: Forgotten Childhood Relics
I did it! After seeing so many artists take part in this fun challenge, and subsequently how HAPPY they and their viewers became with seeing their favourite characters in the 6-panel somewhere in some way, I decided that I had to do it too! However, work suddenly appeared and slowed me down, but I managed to work on this in the evenings and spit out 6 characters who had always been close to me in childhood, some even today.

I guess that's what I was aiming for with this piece; I'm notorious for giving my love to the supporting characters, minor characters, or even forgotten characters that get extremely little to no attention today. Hopefully I nabbed some of your favourties on this page too!

So who exactly have we got here?

Yumi is the second star of the forgotten cartoon HiHi Puffy AmiYumi, alongside her best pal Ami. Sarcastic, cynical, and tough as nails, she's got that bad-girl aura you just gotta love. Voiced by Grey Delisle, her role in the short-running show was just so on point.

D-FIB is the malfunctioning defibrillator-bot that WALL-E encounters on his adventure in the Axiom. Distinct in appearance, she delivers an unhealthy amount of charge in her paddles that give that 'spark' in your life for the first and only time ever.

Marvin Suggs is the crazy musician of the Muppaphone on The Muppet Show. Creating beautiful music by smashing his mallets on the furry little creatures of fluff and fear is his true passion! That can't be said for the Muppaphones, however…

Edward the Blue Engine. Hold on, why is he here? He's not a minor character at all…but where Big World Big Adventures is concerned, he sure is: shoehorned to the sidelines and barely noticed anymore. The current show does not do him justice or give him the respect that he deserves, but we will never forget what his true blue mark on Thomas and Friends really means.

Limestone Pie, probably one of my fave ponies on the entire show. She's moody and sour, but it's been shown on numerous occasions in her few appearances that she does have a soft side tucked away behind that heart of stone and coat of grey. THAT'S the kind of character I adore.

Candlehead is the sweet and ditzy racer of Sugar Rush. Very little screen time is given to her and the rest of the racers, which I will always believe is a huge let down. She and all the others have a HUGE amount of potential just waiting to be explored. Luckily, I've already done this through my writing exploits which can all be found here:
