treehugger and zecoras love child marula, or as he likes to be called Maru.

Hes a very smart pony, and has an amazing talent for brewing medicine out of plants.
he genuinely likes to help ponies, and if anyone asks for his help will kindly give it.

he's a bit eccentric at times, you can often see him having full length conversations with his garden
very superstitious too, if he see's you walk under a latter he wont talk to you for a month afterwards.

growing up, he was a bit ostracized from other ponies for being half zebra so his social skills are abysmal
he talks too loud, or not loud enough, he'll jumble his words together and omit others.
not to mention the way he speaks in general is weird, he doesnt rhyme constantly like zecora
but he does it way more than the average pony, mix that with using words like " gnarly" or "radical."
in his accent and its prone to give ponies whiplash.
it makes it seem like a old pony trying to act 'hip' by using slang.
