Info: Emerald takes on his mothers traits far more than that of his fathers. From his elegant appearance to love of fashion, the only thing defines his heritage to Spike is his odd dragon counterparts. Every since a filly Emerald was bullied for his odd mix of unicorn and dragon, but he never let it get in the way of the things he loved. Everyday he would spend his spare time alongside his mother who was commonly working on dress orders. His first lessons of dress making and fashion came from assisting his mothers. From sewing on buttons, to choosing the perfect fabric, Emerald became almost a better fashionista than his mother. Around the age of five, Emerald began to see his family begin to fall apart. It seemed every night became the time for fights between Spike and Rarity. Often would he lie awake in bed, crying softly as he listened to the quarrels between his parents. It wasnt long before Spike left Rarity for the changeling king, Thorax, leaving Rarity single mother. Emerald hated seeing his mother in the depression in which she fell into but saw it slowly lift as she became closely acquainted to a stallion named Doughnut Joe. Joe was a kind stallion and he never failed to make Emerald`s mother smile, so when the two decided to marry, Emerald was not upset. Not long after their marriage, Rarity became pregnant with twins and Emerald became a big brother. Now Emerald works as a well-known designer in Canterlot and makes nightly visits to his younger step-siblings cafe.
