[Topkick] Going though the lengthy process of moving all my files to my new computer. I had to sort though everything to determine what is worth keeping and throwing away as my external hard rive can't hold the whole drive on my old computer. Doing this, I realized just how many projects I've started and never finished.

Like this one. This is Civic, a car pony, this was meant to be a 4 pane comic where Anon, a mechanic, finds her, takes her away from the dirty alley, fixes her up, and the final picture was supposed to be her running happily in a field chasing after a flywheel as if it was a frisbee. The idea of car enthusiests saving cars which would otherwise be considered junk is a powerful message in my opinion that translates to our own humanity. "1AP horse power" was set up to be a side comic which explored the auto industry and auto culture in pony form. I was predominantly an auto mechanic by trade for most of my life and it was meant to be a way to show some automotive humor. Car ponies where not something that appeared like a thing and I thought many fans would appreciate it. The series would feature Civic, Mustang, and M3 being the main characters.
The car's headlamp and front end would influence the car ponies eye shape and face, so I'd mostly feature 1990s too mid 2000s cars as pre 90s cars often had standard round or square headlamps which where not very lively, and post 2010 cars headlamps got way too extreme.

There was a little disagreement with who I was doing it for. It's sad but it really did take the winds out of the sails on this endeavor, so the project never got past the 2nd pane. I have so many projects I just gave up on for random reasons and it has shown me how emotionally dependent these projects are.
I can't crank out comics and pictures like a factory, the best comics come out when I'm happy, heathy, and doing ok. And when I'm down and out, I know it's best just to keep quiet, negative artwork isn't good.

I don't really talk to anyone else in the fandom, I do my own thing and have for years. But I bet other artists also experience something similar. I have so many started ambitious projects, that I give up on because I convince myself it's too big for me, or that no one will like it, or it's not worth completing.
