She fell, and tasted earth in her mouth. Excruciating pain. Darkness.
Maybe it was alright if she let go. She had tried her best. Her grandmother and sister would be proud of her, she told herself, laying on the ground. She even thought of her mother and father for a second, when she felt the earth vanish underneath her.
Had she died? Was that what it felt like?
“I can feel your heart beating, darling. Open your eyes for me, please.”
The voice was soft and warm. She knew it…and did as she was asked.
“ Lady…Rarity?”, Applejack managed to groan. Her voice sounded raspy and broken in comparison.
“Ssshh, you shall not speak until you feel much better, I will see to that.”
“Y…your eyes…they are so red, I thou-“
Before Applejack was able to finish her sentence, they were moving. Very fast. She felt her consciousness slip away again.
