Backstory:

Growing up as the first alicorn born in Equestria was no easy business. Since a young age she had really powerful magic, which she couldn't control. There was more than one case where it went out of control and could've killed her. She learned to control it as she grew older, but her parents grew overprotective of her. Flurry Heart was to spend the majority of her life indoors with barely any communication with her peers.

This caused Flurry to be a bit socially inept. She still had some friends such as Starbeam and foals of maids and servants, whose parents would sometimes bring them to their job.

The biggest experience Flurry has had with her peers is when her friend, Starbeam, brought her to his school, because she was curious to how it was like. Due to her awkwardness she ended up getting bullied pretty badly and never wanted to to socialize with other ponies as long as she lived.

A major event in her backstory is when she was 14 she found a strange crystal in the castle and picked it up with her magic to observe it. The crystal ended up messing up her magic pretty badly. It was around a week later that she and her mentor, Starlight, found a bunch of those other crystals and Starlight encouraged her to try levitating one of those crystals again to see how her magic reacted. Flurry Heart ended up teleporting on the top of the Crystal Castle and being turned into a crystal statue.

Starlight and Sunburst tried countless spells to break her out, but no matter what they tried, they couldn't break her out.

It has been 5 years since that incident and besides the ponies closest to her, most ponies were lead to believe she just mysteriously disappeared one day.



Personality:

As mentioned in her backstory, Flurry is a rather socially awkward filly. She is also really shy and likely suffers from social anxiety. She is really emotional and little things can make her upset or really happy. Despite that Flurry Heart has a kind and compassionate soul and does her best to make ponies around her feel good even if she can make them cringe sometimes. She is also really clingy. When she gets to know somepony it takes mere seconds for her to stamp the best friend status on them and she is afraid to let them down. She also has a big fear of failure.

Due to all of the time she spent alone she had a lot of time to develop artistically. She likes to draw, write and even sing. In fact, she has a great singing voice, but barely anypony knows about. She ikes to sing to herself at night, in the crystal gardens when she's all alone.
