1. Okay so as most of you know Rarity did an oopsie and lands herself in prison. However trials had to be met so Twilight felt she had to attend. Not only because she was a friend but she partially blamed herself for not trying hard enough with Rarity. So she goes too the trials, stays in Canterlot for it and eventually has to return too her own castle.
However she returned home earlier than expected and the sight she saw was the thing that finally made her snap.
Twilight had returned too her castle late at night, exhausted and too her husbands standards she looked awful. Her under arm hair had geown out to a "disgusting length" he would probably say, her cheek and chin hair was way out of line and just in general she was prepared for an ear full from Flash.
But as she crept up too her and her husbands room she paused, noticing the door ajar and the bedroom light on. Her ears pricked as she heard voices, quietly peeking into the room. Her sromach dropped as she saw Flash Sentry nuzzling up against a familiar unicorn known as Trixie.
"Oh come on Flashy- you really should just leave her, youve seen what I can do. How much I impress you~ a dainty little princess like her wouldnt have the balls to fire you if you got a divorce. The public would see that as petty, afterall." She smirks, nuzzling the top of his head before he sighed.
The stallion pulled away, reaching over too a vase and pulled out a flower. He offered in too Trixie, smiling in a charming way.
"While i love our moments together, Lulu, The risk of losing my job is far too great. Its good money afterall. Lets just keep our relationship the way it is for right now. Plus a naughty mare such as yourself loves how sneaky we have to be~" he purred out, earning a blush from the other mare.
Twlight felt sick, stepping back from the door as her stomach tied itself in knots. She just.. needed to leave again. She felt used, humiliated, and absolutly pissed all at once. To be honest she doesnt recall all of the nights actions. The memories become fuzzy and all she remembers is heading doen too her sons room.
2. Twilights memories pick up outside, roaming away from ponyville and into the surrounding area. Her 4 yearold son was passed out on her back while she held a magical satchel between her teeth. It was a wedding gift from discord, allowing her to pack whatever she wanted without having to deal with the weight or added luggage. Honestly she didnt know where she was headed, all she knew was she was angry. She dedicated years too Flash, she dealt with the abuse, dealt with his aggression towards her appearance all while struggling to be there for her son, friends, family, subjects. She was just done. She needed to get away. Did it break everything shes ever known? Yes. Was it going too harm her relationships? Probably. But at this point this wasnt like fighting a villain or trying to redeem someone with friendship. She'd offered Flash the most satcred friendshio she could, marriage. She loved him no matter what he did for so long, brushed many things under the rug. Hell she starved herself for him so he could have the pretty thin wife of his dreams.
But she was done now. No she was going to start over with her kid.
3. Of course being a princess is a dead give away so she alters her and her sons appearance with spells and magical jewlery in order to hide their identities.
Now she goes under the name Dusk Everglow and her sons new name is Asher or Ash for short.
4. Upon further travels Twilight bumps into a herd. Herds are basically ponies who live closer too their more primal ancestors. They tend to travel all across equestrias rural areas, living off the land and in general theyre pretty laid back. Twilight was skeptical about joining but a certain mare happened too charm her in. This mare goes by the name Shelly Shores and is a total charmer without even knowing it. She grew up jumping from herd too herd and was naturally very social so when she noticed Dusk nosing about the outskirts of one of the camps with her son she immediantly invited her in. They were basically glued at the hip from that point on. Dusk enjoyed how the mare could babble on and on about a subject and how sweet she was. And she may or may not have started gaining sum feelings for the big ol scruffy horse. Also that lil twerp child of hers is Frizzy Frazz, her 5 year old daughter thats full of pure ADHD induced energy.
5. Typically in herds its well known throughout that when you have a crush you typically adorn said crush with gifts and affection and for a while Twilight didnt even realize her feelings were at all romantic towards Shelly. She grew up exposed too homophobic oarents and peers so her own questions towards being bisexual were often shaken off. But after a while she realized "oh shit oh fuk i think i kinda like girls-" when Shelly offered her some hoove crafted jewlery the two could wear as like "more than friendship bracelets"
Yeah you bet the pair ended that day with some intense love making.
does twilight feel guilty afterwards since shes still technically married too Flash? No not really.
Does she realize the fact that she kinda sorta foalnapped her own son? No not really :)
