I finally got around to making one of my doodles pretty. Huzzah~
Here we have OC's from my ill fated adventure story, Insurgency; Fall of an Empire. To summarize, my main Character, a unicorn named Moonlight Sonata, is transported to a totalitarian dictatorship taking place in the G3 universe. Due to a series of strange events, she starts a rebellion and fights to overthrow the infamous Divine Princess.
Note: I drew this bottom up, from right to left so we start in the bottom right corner.
1) Here we have Moonlights most loyal companion, Winterstar. Winter is a cloud rider, descended from the once renowned Star Catcher. He is one of the only pegasi capable of walking on clouds and manipulating weather, hence why Moonlight meets him in a reeducation camp.
2) Winter, at first, doesn't like Moonlight. Whether its because she is a unicorn, her coat being an omen or her general lack of concern for everything happening, is anyone's guess.
3) A doodle of Princess Celestia drawn by Moonlight.
4) Winter would often find Moonlight staring into space and muttering to herself. So he thought of her as crazy for a while. This wasn't too far off the mark as she was currently conversing with the spirit taking refuge in her mind.
5) Winterstar's Cutiemark. While he doesn't like talking about it, he attaches a lot of importance to it as he feels its a guide to find his deity. The Cloudwalkers are very religious but find themselves struggling to find their deity in the clouds they walk in. Winter, when he was frustrated and wanted to fly higher, was burned by the sun and fell. When he awoke, he had his cutiemark and come to the conclusion he was one step closer to finding his deity since he was the first to earn one in centuries.
6) Moonlight Sonata's cutiemark, though Moonlight herself doesn't recall or when she got it. She feels that it has something to do with her father but doesn't want to think about it for fear of what she dregs up.
7) The groups resident muscle and grump, Hazel Drop. She is the eldest of the group and a runaway slave, so she is very abrasive and set in her ways. While she is impulsive at times, she is intensely loyal and affectionate (in her own way).
8) Moonlight meeting Hazel. Haze is shouting at the disoriented and bewildered Moonlight, interrogating the mare who just woke up in an entirely different place than where she fell asleep at.
