((If you haven’t seen Secrets Of Dragon’s Tear yet I do apologize for basically having this spoil perhaps the story’s biggest twist. But I also didn’t want to drag things out too long without introducing the spirit of this universe’s Sunset Shimmer as someone to ask if needed.

But yes, in this blog’s AU… Sunset Shimmer is Starlight’s missing (And would turn out to be deceased) mother. Pretty much the big reason she went to return to be Twilight’s student again. As the identity of her mother was also the key to her destiny.

The Sunset in here is naturally a good bit older then the one in the EQG series. If this Sunset was still alive, she’d be about in her late 30′s/early 40′s. She appears just as young as Starlight here, because she died young. (Mid-20′s about)
