Sometimes one of the group dynamic problems is that some people have, well, actual Problems. Just like regular friend groups.

This arc is going a little longer than I estimated it would, so I'm extending the deadline for guest comics! They're now due on the 13th!

Our newest Spudventure is out! My squirrel grifter got quite the surprise in it.

DM: So… I should ask them if what they want is a more relaxed, cartoony campaign?
Princess Cadance: I can't speak for them. I'm just giving an example of how they might be thinking differently, in a way you wouldn't normally expect. Only an honest dialogue can reveal what you all want.
DM: Thanks. You've been a big help. Hopefully we can all agree on something…

Twilight Sparkle: …and it's like, we get led along a narrow path to where the problem is, and then suddenly it's an open world. "Figure it out! No more guidance!"
Rainbow Dash: And doing anything unexpected at that point causes a freakout.
Shining Armor: Hmm… Looks like you all need to have a long talk about the style of DMing. Just don't forget to mention the positives, too. DMs need to know what's worked well before. Like your favorite parts of the campaign so far.
Rainbow Dash: I dunno… We've had some pretty sweet victories, but it's still colorful cartoon *ponies*, y'know?
Shining Armor: Then why are you still here?
Rainbow Dash: They let me punch the pretty things.
