Description:

Eldest of the Gemini Archons, Celestia, Sol incarnate.

During the war, Celestia was known for her devastation. From endless droughts to simply wiping a city off the face of Teyvat, she was a warrior to her core and cared for little more than the thrill of the fight with her beloved sister at her side. Together, they carved out their own piece of Teyvat, and somewhere along the way, acquired admirers who then filled their lands. It paid to be in the Gemini Archon's thrall, as there was little that could stand against them. One sister watched over the day, the other over night; the most violent Archons provided the safest haven against the war.

And then, it was over. The war had come to a halt, and of the many Archons that fought, the sisters remained. With no battles left to fight and a land full of people to govern, the sisters had no idea what they'd gotten themselves into. Blessing visions to people who'd earned them, settling disputes, coraling nobles, establishing trade, making deals with other nations. Truly, it was a mess they hadn't bargained for, but none the less, the title of 'empress' and the love of the people had stirred their hearts, so the sisters set to work to learn state's craft.

It was quickly apparent that Celestia had the worse temper, but thicker skin and more patience than her sister, so it was up to her to become the negotiator. From battles of the sword to battles of the mind, Celestia learned and fought and won battle after battle, until finally, she had established Aria, the nation of harmony, as a capital of trade and a land rich with ores. Her fame spread, her renown among the people had grown to the point where only few dared speak poorly of her, and she was loved by all her people.

Save… one

Her sister, as she would, became envious of Celestia as Luna's role as guardian of the night didn't garner anywhere near the fame or adoration that her sister did. Eventually, the dispute came to blows, and the two fought at twilight in the Arian colosseum for all of Aria to see. Despite her lack of practice in battle, Celestia's games in the political arena had earned her a new talent, the ability to get anyone to talk to her. Between clashes of sword and lance, between flashes of ice and fire, Celestia found the root of the problem. More so than the jealousy, more so than the envy, was the loneliness that had been plaguing Luna above all else.

When the fight came to an end, and Celestia had stood over her sister as the victor, she apologized. To the shock of the audience and Luna herself, she put her blade away and kneeled with her sister. For, what is the Gemini Archon without her other half?

In the end, Celestia decided that she needed a reminder of this failure to care for the most important thing to her: her dear sister. She took it upon herself to have shackles made so that she may wear them everywhere she goes. Forever, tethered to her sister, as it should have always been, as it should always be.
