Well about 5% of the population seems naturally homosexual, but there is a lot of pressure for everyone else to suppress their heterosexual urges, especially as teenagers. So the real homos get kind of drowned out by the abuse victims, the attention whores, and those who have been led to fear pregnancy. Basically "abstinence-only" culture is training people to be gay. That's what I mean by sexual suppression twisting our sexuality, though training people to be gay is probably the least perverted result of that.

I think it's "hugboxes" more than counter-culture memes . You can rock out to grunge metal without destabilizing civilization, and honestly a stable society is a stagnant one. What we have is people being silenced for criticism and disapproval, with no hatred allowed. When your "counter-culture" forum only allows for approval and support, people start having more severe negative reactions to non-counter-culture stuff, so instead of liking grunge metal you start thinking there's something wrong with people for liking other things. And that explains /mu/

There are even communities where you're only allowed to see positive things about the mother and father and the family unit, and anyone talking about how these unnatural nuclear families twist people into antisocial neurotic sociopaths gets "canceled" one way or the other, until only the party line is heard. So whether your identity is based on something normative, or something counter to the norm, the problem is that echo chamber isolation, led by the algorithms deliberately programmed to polarize us since hatred compels us to send them more clicks for ad revenue.

I think a lot of it is how people build the foundations of their identity. Build it based on being a contributing part of a functioning society, with sexual outlets used for fun and bonding between the mother and father in the family unit, and you get stable civilizations. Build an identity based on degeneracy and breaking down all social norms and you have a corrosive cancer that poisons any society that allows it with ever worsening symptons.

There are a few animated hentai gifs made with this sort of premise. Several of them have a machine almost exactly like this that picks up a character and then kills them messily with lasers and stuff.

There's another famous animated gif with characters embedded into walls and floors in what looks sort of like a cross section of an apartment building. In this other gif, there's this worm/maggot thing that makes it's way to the top area by going through the girls. Whether through their mouth and exiting their rear, or the other way around, depending on how the girls are positioned.

Think of these famous animated gifs as the memes back before we had the "demotivational pictures" templates, which were then turned into the modern normie's understanding of what a "meme" was.
