Since we just got our nice enchanted armor and we'd like to keep it, I'd say we go for the magical style.
Since you already have enchanted equipment, you decide on learning more about the magical way.
Hoofingold: "Very well! In that case, the most important element to consider is the balance of your magic flow.
In case you don't know, most living creatures, such as ponies, have foci within their bodies that can hold magic. These foci are connected to each other by streams through which energy flows in and out of the body. This system is what we call the magic flow.
When you equip normal items, they each act as obstacles, and your magic flow is attenuated. As a rule, the more you wear, the weaker your magic becomes, which is why spell casters usually wear little armour.
When you equip enchanted items, however, they act as additional foci. This causes the magic to flow through them, which in turn allows the enchantments to recharge over time.
But you have to be careful with that. You see, a normal pony can only hold so much magic at once. Because of this, the more magic an item drains from the body, the more exhausting it is to use — just like magic spells are to unicorns!
Ah, but look at the time! If you'll excuse me, I promised Autumn Skies I'd make dinner today. Should you have any more questions, be sure to come by again later, or to visit the town library. I have no doubt that Plume will be happy to help you find what you're looking for."
The clock on the wall indicates half past eleven.
