An update to the pony population chart created a few years back, taking into account all ponies from the first season and the last (minus the ones from the Pillars' era) to create an idea of the population spread of ponies in Equestria. Took a while to recreate the blasted thing, since the original only existed in image format! Had to learn a lot about excel from scratch, so it was quite educational on top of frustrating, yet fun (frustun? frun? where's Pinkie when you need her).

Gender still is far closer to the 50/50 that used to be assumed, though that assumption has already shrunk over time.

Earth ponies vastly outnumber the other tribes. Go team earth! This might actually help explain the lack of discrimination against earth ponies, even from ponies with a lower moral fiber. Hard to treat people like a minority when they are the majority.
