Haven't entered a contest in a good long while so I thought why not draw a quick but pleasant entry for this sweet-heart's 100 followers celebration contest! In been a good minute since I did my traditional way of shading too, I'll need to focus on that and practice in my spare time for my final commission since I'm a little rusty. With shading technique and lighting is very experimental since it's far away from usual and something for a change of pace. ;v;
Perhaps I'll experiment further with this type of shading technique to see if it's easy and more effective then my last shading technique! <33
Anyways, I really hope you like this entry I made for you sweetness! I really, really enjoyed drawing these happy and grumpy love bird sos much! I wasn't sure the name of the pony with the pom-pom hat but her colours went perfectly with the background and atmospheric lighting I had in mind. <333
