Blue Screen was formerly a computer science manager in Fillydelphia, prior to the great war taking place. When the battle began, he enlisted to computer working as a specialist in the Ministry of Wartime Technology. During one of his workdays, however, Fillydelphia was hit by a giant megaspell laser bomb.
The blue pegasus, at that time straight blue, was forced to escape with several other Crystal Empire citizens enlisted in the fight against the Zebra Remnant. His colony could not get out before the zebras ransacked and attacked his company, however — and, in the hardest and most painful battle out, he witnessed his parents, a crystal blue mare and a simple pegasus stallion (most on that in future entries), get brutally shot down by the Legate's successor, Rassore.
Their deaths severely affected him, on top of him being wounded greatly in his escape. Blue Screen was mortally wounded when he finally emerged from the battle lines, and miraculously was captured by another refugee from his camp — that specialist being Trauma Trigger.
Trauma, whose real name was just Trigger prior to the battle hurting his scythe as well, fortunately was trained enough in both the technology and peace ministries to offer the life-saving treatment his acquaintance, soon to become a dear friend, needed. Much like Blackjack was in her cyber upgrades, Blue Screen was merged with cybernetics from the computer energy generator. When he recovered and was released, he bore the Bue Screen of Death Warning Code all over his crystalline body.
From that day forward, he never forgot the battle for freedom. To remain hidden from the zebra assassins should they possibly return, he has since changed his name to the code's abbreviation:BSOD. To which it has remained to this day.
Another detailed pony bio! Kind of a sad one, though…hence why he bears a sad face brand, similar to the Dashite one. :(
As for where he fits into the rest of my canon, with the whole fight of good and evil? That is still to be determined, but we'll see where it goes. :)
My third crystal pony in this Fallout series, and the first ever computer pony/crystal pegasus hybrid. 😙😁
