Wardrobe #3 — Seeing life in blue

A few days have passed since the first rehearsals. I have to admit that it is… less torture than I expected. Probably because of my rather voluminous dress, the other ponies pay much more attention to me and show me… strange signs of gallantry. The stallions open the door for me, the mares compliment me on my outfit and Brown Hooves' creativity seems to be in full swing. She plans to base much of the advertising on the fact that it's a male playing the princess. I don't quite understand this… enthusiasm, they all seem to have forgotten that what's happening to me is a punishment for showing a minimum of fairness… It's as if everyone agrees to treat me like a princess as if I've always been one. It's not unpleasant, but it's still very humiliating…

This morning, someone from the group sent me a package with a blue dress, a novel called "50 Shades of Dresses" and a love letter to me. At first I felt very insulted, I wanted to throw everything out the window but… I also felt flattered. This is the first time I have a secret admirer… So not to regret anything, I opened this letter anyway:

" My dear princess,

First of all, please forgive me for not revealing my identity to you but I am a shy stallion who despite his fears, wants to show you his love without exposing himself. I understand that this may frustrate you but please give your secret admirer a chance to give you a little of everything you deserve.

I've arranged for your delightful measurements to be obtained from our costume designer and I hope that this dress, which should fit you like a glove, will please you. I also took the liberty of offering you this novel which I sincerely hope will help you accept yourself as you are because, in my opinion, you are perfect as you are.

Finally, if you feel like it, a horse-drawn carriage should pick you up within the hour to take you to the best restaurant in town. I know that my attitude must seem very cavalier but I think that a flower as pretty as you should not stay hidden in an apartment or in a rehearsal room.

I don't know why but reading these words made me feel strangely good… Is it really possible for someone as unlucky in love as I am to find a suitor? I don't know if… I'm attracted to other studs but considering how much trouble he went through to please me, I'd be selfish not to give him a chance… As long as it's not that loser of Golden, I think I could live with his company.

Without understanding why, I slowly prepared myself, putting on this delicate blue dress that, as he thought, fit me like a glove. I must admit that I am very nervous, it will be my very first outing in a dress… Provided that the other ponies do not pay attention to me…

Hello to all!

So, as every week, I take this opportunity to give you some news.

First of all, I had some difficulties to progress with my drawings this week. I had a more or less important drop of morale and I couldn't find the strength to work. It's not the first time that I have… a slump but it's never pleasant…

Next, I'm sorry to inform you that the dresses for this week and next week will not be new. Indeed, I have to make them again because I will have a Velvet plush with 4 of her dresses and I want the artist to have the best model ever!
