- Completely void of magic, resentful of her younger sister, Piers, for having such strong elemental magic.
- Used to date Lucky Clover. Due to stress, they broke apart, but still have feelings for each other.
- Heir to Twilight, but overly stressed and unsure of her position.
- Her choker was a gift from her father, she never takes it off. It's a small conduit for magic, and thanks to it, she can perform basic spells, albiet very shakily.

- Very strong in elemental magic, most often uses fire.
- Took a guard position in an effort to find her place in her mothers kingdom. She was quickly assigned to be Astrid's personal guard. Neither are very enthusiastic about this.
- Her talent resides in entomology, specifically butterflies, as her name and cutiemark would suggest. Most don't know this.
- She got her scars from a timberwolf pup she saved as a kid.

Name: Mystic Dawn

Siblings: Luster Dawn, Oscuros Dawn
- One of Sunset's triplets, and the least magically inclined. She's rather ditzy, but well meaning.
- Overly talkative and has no filter. Don't tell this girl any of your secrets, she'll spill the first chance she gets (albiet unintentially). She tends to talk Luster's ears off
- Absolutely raging lesbian. Any girl she meets, she probably imagines their wedding night.
- Most don't know she's related to Sunset or Luster.

Name: Luster Dawn
Parents: Sombra (Father, deceased), Sunset Shimmer (Mother)
Siblings: Mystic Dawn, Oscuros Dawn
- Twilight's personal student. Luster sometimes feel she hasn't truly earned her position, since Twilght had already taken her and her siblings in years ago. Twilight usually assures her that she's earned everything she has.
- Avoids going outside like the plague. Normally Twilight has to force her out against her will, that, or Mystic comes around and pulls Luster around in any direction she can.
- Unbeknownst to everyone, Luster is currently trying to find the wearabouts of her brother, Oscuros. She didn't take his disappearance well, and blames her mother for him running away. She's unaware of the circumstances under which he left.
- Currently working up the courage to ask out Flurry Heart.

Name: Oscuros Dawn
Parents: Sombra (Father, deceased), Sunset Shimmer (Mother)
Siblings: Mystic Dawn, Luster Dawn
- Ran away when he was 11 after attacking his mother, Sunset Shimmer. Currently resides in the North, watching over the Crystal Empire.
- Misunderstands his cutiemark. He feels that his destiny is to follow in his fathers footsteps, and hides away to avoid fullfilling that future. His talent is actually being able to control and regulate dark magic. Though in his defense, he would be the first of his 'kind.'
- Met Astrid briefly when they were children, and they struck a close friendship. So close, in fact, that Astrid knows where he is and they keep regular contact. Astrid is willing to keep his location a secret and tells no one of their communication.
- He doesn't hate his mother, but he resents her for keeping secrets from her children, specifically the identity of their father. She's gotten too close to finding him for comfort.
