Vinyl has been a wile child since birth, she loved the world and wanted to try everything she could get her hooves on. It was when she was a young filly that her older brother brought her to one of his high school's concerts that she found what her life was gonna be about. She was entranced by the way the stallion on stage could make such pulsing beats and hypnotic tunes with the old discs and his own hooves! It was amazing and she was determined to be the best at making electronic music. Her brother seeing the fire in her eyes saved money from his part-time job until on the next Hearthswarming he gave Vinyl her very first turntable.



After graduating high school Vinyl moved to Manehatten and pounded on the door of every club, every night until finally one manager said that she had one night, that's all he'd give the young mare, if just to shut her up. By the end of the night she had packed out his club drawing in patrons from all walks of life and the manager asked her to stay that she could preform whenever she wanted and he would even give her funds to get her newer equipment.



It was one night that a gorgeous mare graced the floor for the first time, she would know if a beauty like that had been there before, and completely lost herself in Vinyl's music that the unicorn had to meet the earth pony. And after their late night conversation at a small diner, Vinyl knew she would spend the rest of her life with the goddess Octavia.
