Personality/Background:

Barre Chord is the oldest and only son of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich, and the twin brother of Paprika. Barre is a spunky and confident stallion, and he takes after his parents with his attitude. He is rarely seen without a smile on his face and a bright demeanor. As a child, he was named Cookie Crumble. Because of this, he assumed he would take after one of his parents’ talents, like baking or party planning or something. Unfortunately, he was awful at baking and never seemed to set parties up like his parents did. It brought him a great deal of stress as an adolescent, until his father told him that he needs to do it “the Cookie way”, he needs to do what he likes to do, not what he feels expected to do. Cookie took this advice and ran with it, and joined the band club at his school. He soon discovered that he really enjoyed making music, especially playing the guitar. One day, he decided to join the school’s talent show and play guitar up on stage. It filled him with joy being on the stage, all eyes on him and everyone with a great big smile. That day, his cutie mark appeared. He was ecstatic, he ran home to show his parent’s immediately. They were very proud of him, and supported their son’s dreams in every way they could.

When he got older, Cookie Crumble created a band with a few friends and turned out to be surprisingly good. Small cafe gigs turned into local concerts, and those turned into Equestria-wide tours. Everyone loved him, and he loved the spotlight. He renamed himself Barre Chord, he felt it was a more suitable name for what he did. Although he travels to many places, he always makes time to return home to spend time with his family.




Paprika

Personality/Background:

Paprika is the oldest daughter of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. Paprika took after her mother when it came to body type, she inherited Pinkie Pie’s shetland pony genes and has a very short stature and a fluffy coat. Because of this, Paprika has always been very small, her little sister is the same height as her and she’s just a filly! One thing Paprika didn’t inherit from her mother or her father though was their enthusiasm. She doesn’t often express and can come off as monotone and boring, but she isn’t that at all. She is a very friendly and loyal pony to those she is close to, especially her family. Paprika is extremely protective of her younger sister, Strawberry Cheesecake.

Growing up, Paprika was very timid and self conscious, she never interacted with other foals and never had any friends. Paprika spent her school years either by herself or glued to Barre Chord’s side. Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich did their very best to lift their daughter’s spirits and to boost her confidence, but it was only so helpful. Paprika’s low self esteem only got worse as she got older and still remained a blank flank. Practically everyone in her grade already had a cutie mark, yet she still had no idea what she was good at. She tried everything, but it just seemed like she couldn’t do anything. One day, Paprika was especially down. Pinkie Pie came to talk to her daughter, and told her that when she was feeling down, she bakes. Paprika insisted that she was terrible at baking, she was nothing like her mom. She couldn’t conjure up an amazing platter of cupcakes. Pinkie Pie told her that when her Granny Pie was alive, she was always cooking. It made her happy and kept her mind off of things. Pinkie Pie left the recipe for Granny Pie’s famous rock stew with Paprika and left her to think about it. Next thing she knew, Paprika was in the kitchen making the rock stew, except it was better! The entire family was in awe at the flavors in Paprika’s stew, and for once, a slight smile came across Paprika’s face. Her cutiemark appeared at that moment, and she knew what she was meant to do. She continued cooking throughout the rest of her school years and then attended a culinary school. Paprika then opened a modest catering business. It wasn’t much, but it was hers.




Strawberry Cheesecake

Personality/Background:

Strawberry Cheesecake is my own interpretation of Lil’ Cheese from “The Last Problem”




Strawberry Cheesecake is the youngest daughter of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. She is a very fiery and excitable filly, and just loves life. She is very happy and is always skipping around with a smile on her face. Her body is very lanky, much like her dad’s, and she has a mane and tail much like Pinkie Pie’s. Cheesecake is still young and still attends gradeschool, but she does much more than just school. Cheesecake has always been a very competitive pony, and always wanted to be the best she could be. She was very young when she got her cutiemark, and she got it when she entered a foal baking competition and won first place with a strawberry cheesecake she made with Pinkie Pie. Since then, she’s been a baking machine. She loves to bake with her mother, and has even entered baking competitions with her that are for older contestants. She is often the youngest baker in the competitions, yet she still places very high. She doesn’t let anything get her down, she’s young, she has a passion, life is good. Cheesecake loves her family very much, especially her siblings. She loves Barre Chord who shares a similar attitude to her, and she loves Paprika to death. Paprika is very protective of Strawberry Cheesecake, and Cheesecake loves to brighten her sister’s mood. One of her favorite things to do is play pranks on Cheese Sandwich with Pinkie Pie.
