- Despite living amongst animals – I never had a pet of my own. Perhaps working on mothers sanctuary made the idea not cross my mind. To others, an animal was a singular addition to the family. To me, they were everywhere. And the idea of owning one must have seemed quaint. Like how one who lives in surplus don't find the sole things as fascinating as those who don't.
That said – I did feel the most at peace at mother's Sanctuary, surrounded by all the different kinds of annimals. I believe I've inherited a bit of mothers connection to nature, as well as my fathers chaos. For I did feel in touch with the animals.
The Animals, however – did not feel the same.
I believe I scared them. As this little unnatural spawn of chaos, I sure was the strangest creature of the sanctuary. And my powers definetly scared them. Seing all the magical Chimeras and Manticores that came round the sanctuary made little creative young me wonder just how I could help improve the other critters.
My creative side did not eandear me to anyone. The games that This little Chaos spawn wanted to play were ones that no creature wanted to take part in. Pin the tail on the donkey carries a whole new meaning for a reality bender.
And trying to make your own chimera is a prospect that most creatures find highly appalling.Even when your intentions are clear and consented, most become shocked and revolted by the transformations.
Trying to make the ultimate pet was an exercise in futility. As no creature would be thankful for the alterations. Most creatures don't want to be grafted onto each other. And before long I ostracized myself from any potential pet.
As such. It looked like no one would want to form that special bond with me.
