Catawampus, or 'Cat' to her friends decided to have a nice, relaxing flight over the ocean.
The sun twinkled off the waves and tickled her feathers as she trailed her talon in the water, without a care in the world.
All of a sudden, something leapt out of the water: it was Cat's good friend, Silverstream!
The two fell to chatting about their day, pausing every time Silverstream dipped back under the water, and in less than an hour the two had travelled several miles out to sea!
But even as Cat turned to fly home, she waved back at Silverstream, promising that she'd see her again after dinner.

This was a fun little sketch that I did for my friend ScratchPaper, featuring her OC Catawampus (half hippogriff, half griffin) at a Sketchbook Swap over the weekend. I had a fantastic time trading characters and making art for my friends during the afternoon, and as you can see, we made a lot of great artwork!
