In his attempts to escape with one leg now wounded, he runs onto the Sweet Apple Acres property, where AJ is doing her daily farm work. Of course, after their first encounter, Applejack is quite allured to tease him at first, shooting off dry remarks to bite at his ego before getting to welcoming him inside to get him washed up and bandaged.
