Let's head to the dining car for lunch, and while we're there we can see if there's anypony interesting we can strike up a conversation with.

You trade 5 Gold Bits for Train Ticket.

After each buying a train ticket, your party joins a short line of ponies climbing aboard the Friendship Express.

You give Train Ticket to the train conductor.

Once past the boarding car, you make your way to the back of the open coach, and all take a seat together. Soon, the train begins to chug into motion, and slowly rolls out of the Coltswell station.

Now that you can finally take a moment to rest, you find that all that walking burned much of your earlier breakfast's energy. Before you can suggest getting some lunch, however, you notice that Moonflower seems somewhat heavy of breath.

Moonflower: "I'm okay! I think summer's caught up to me, that's all. Shoot, and I'm all out of mare's poison, too!"

At that revelation, you look over to Apple Basket, and waggle your eyebrows suggestively at him. A short silence stretches before he takes the hint.

Apple Basket: "Oh! Uh, right. Maybe I could, uh… help you with that? If you'd like?"

Moonflower: "Oooh… I dunno, I don't want Blazer to feel left out."

You grin, and shake your head. If anything, it would make you happy to know that your friends are getting closer to each other. And with that, you nudge them off the seat, and tell them to go have some fun.

It doesn't take much convincing to get the two to comply. After getting a key to a private room from a nearby car attendant, Moonflower returns to give you a copy, and to sneak in a nuzzle.

You get Train Key B3-4!

Moonflower: "Don't wait for us to get some food, okay?"

You nod, and wish the two a good time. Once they trot off to their room, you decide to make your own way to the kitchen.

You return to your seat a few minutes later with a plate of fresh veggie wraps, and a glass of ice cold watermelon juice. The simple meal is tasty and filling, and helps you cool off from your earlier walk in the sun. You feel satiated.

With lunch taken care of, you sit back and relax. Knowing your two younger friends, it might be a while before they return, so you figure you might as well take a quick look around for other ponies to chat with in the meantime.

In the open coach, you find a pair of ponies playing a card game, a bored-looking mare watching the land scroll by through the window, and an older gentlecolt reading a newspaper.
