After unpacking his luggage and a quick lunch prepared by Granny Smith the colt spent the rest of afternoon with Applebloom as she gave him a detailed tour of the farm and the surrounding orchards. During his brief, previous visit
Stone Mane had watched Applebloom perform her afternoon chores around the farm, but for the duration of this stay at Sweet Apple Acres he would have his own chores around the farm that he'd have to perform daily in the morning and afternoon.
Under most circumstances the colt would've, like most foals his age, groaned and then begrudgingly gone about doing them, and it was no small list of chore he had to do. However he didn't mind the labors. Because these were chores he would be doing with Applebloom. This was part of her daily life. Just as much as seasons effected the fortunes of her family. This was her world, and Stone Mane was eager learn everything he could about it.
