Description:

Gareth: Roommates! Y-you want me to be your roommate?! For reals?!

Sunfyre: Temporary roommate. Key word being 'temporary'.

Gareth: Roommates. You…and me. We're going to be roommates!

Sunfyre: Oh my god, by the 5 princesses can you not make this situation anymore awkward than it already is?

Gareth: Roommates with you. I'm so happy to hear we'll be roommates.

Sunfyre: You know what'll make me happy? Me not saying your trigger word again as well as you maintaining social distancing from my snout. Oh and above all else…you getting your keister off of me will be greatly appreciated.

While planning for a project I was planning to do, a thought had came to me. I started to recall reading an ongoing comic done by a well known artist named Braeburn featuring an alpaca and a buffalo as roommates (I think the alpaca is named Ollie and I can't recall if his friend is a buffalo or an ox but somewhere around the species). Anyway, it made me think hard about something I was planning on doing with a couple of my own OCs, mainly my MLP Pegasus OC Sunfyre & my MLP Griffon OC Gareth. I've mentioned how the pair are friends and while I had thrown hints about a possible 'what if' scenario with them I never truly dove into they're relationship…er, friendship…well, not on Sunny's side really. So…time to dive into it.

This pic represents a situation where Sunfyre finds out that Gareth was having a housing 'issue'. Sunny, having more than enough room at his place, makes an offer to Gareth to stay with him for a while. Gareth jumps at the chance (and at Sunfyre) and is very excited to be rooming with somecreature he's admire for ages. Sunny may think he may have regretted asking Gareth to be his roommate. Well, 'temporary' roommate. Only time will tell what will happen next between them.

One little bit to mention is that I have Sunfyre sport a collar now. I have had him wore one before but never got around to the reason as to why. Maybe it was due to him keeping a promise to a friend he lost a dare to. Perhaps he chose to rebel against 'the pony', or maybe he lost a bet to a certain somecreature and must wear it until he finally wins…or he just felt like wearing it as a sense of fashion for himself. Who can really say. I also wanted to test out to see how Gareth would look like if his furry hair were feathers instead. I've no complaints about it.
