Backstory: A confident and outgoing pegasus. She's self-assured and can come off as full of herself but admittedly she knows her confidence gives her the courage to try and fail. Long-time best friend of Fluttershy she'd always cared a lot for the yellow pegasus so honestly, it didn't take her too long to realise that her feelings stretched beyond friendship. Fluttershy accepted Dash and admitted her own feelings which helped Dash feel better. Rainbow Dash had always been a good flyer and had proclaimed herself to be one of the best in Equestira so being accepted by THE Wonderbolts was more than a dream come true for her. It was hard work, but she loved what she did which was something her father had always told her "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." Dash may come home tired from a hard days practice but Fluttershy was always there to offer support and comfort, something Dash treasured.

Fluttershy becoming a vampire took a toll on their relationship, not because Rainbow didn't accept her mare friend, but because Fluttershy was terrified of what happened to her every night. She hated the thought of accidentally hurting her lover. They eventually pulled through and fell into a routine. Fluttershy's favourite thing to do on a night was lay curled up beside her mare friend with her head buried against her pulse point. Dash allowed her lover to indulge.

Discord met with Fluttershy for tea every Wednesday. Dash would ruffle her feathers and glare at the Draconequis promising that if he DARE touch a feather on her mare friend, he'd be in for a world of pain. The Draconequis was amused by the blue pegasus's antics. He always agreed he would not touch Fluttershy.

One night Fluttershy asked her mare friend to give Discord a chance. Rainbow argued that he tried to take over Equestria TWICE. Fluttershy nodded her head "I know. But he's really changed Dash. For me?" Rainbow Dash could never say not to her lover. So he stayed for tea with Discord… And she actually enjoyed it, she started staying for tea more often, meeting with Discord outside of their tea meetups.

They ended up drinking too much one night and one thing lead to another and they woke up in a heap, the Draconequis wrapped around the two pegasi. They talked about it like adults the next morning and decided to try being in a relationship together. Their friends were hesitant, was it even safe for a draconequis to be in an intimate relationship with two mortal ponies? Fluttershy reminded her friend group that she had been magically turned into a vampire after the whole 'bats' incident. If Discord pushed his luck she had the physical strength to hold him off.

Before their relationship with Discord the two pegasi already had four foals together (Rainbow also had Cosmos with Twilight). So when Discord laid two blue eggs and a yellow one the two pegasi were worried about what that meant for their family. Would the new foals even be pony shaped? Would they have chaos magic?

Dash was a good mother to all of her foals, especially their hybrids. She had a soft spot for Dusty Rose who when she was younger reminded her a lot of Fluttershy at a similar age.
