Rainbow Dash rekindled with Gilda really fast, so when Gilda became pregnant from a one night stand, Rainbow was quick to rush in and help. Gilda, though she likes to see herself as tough and rugged, was extremely vulnerable during the process of pregnancy. But Dash and the other mane six, surprisingly, were there for her.

When the eggs hatched months after they were laid, Rainbow dedicated her time to looking after them. Since she already had experience with little foals, referring to her own, she saw griffon Cubs as no different. While Gilda had trouble controlling them, Rainbow always managed to calm them down.

Pegasi are nurtures at heart, they are soft and give off a’ motherly’ vibe. Though other species see them as “brutes”, they can be extremely gentle with young creatures.

Gilda would often drop her hatchlings off at Rainbows when they became too much to handle, or when she was tired. Rainbow had no problem watching over the two, in fact, she was delighted to. She would even consider the two griffin Cubs as her own.
