The Equal Temple was an egalitarian cult led by Starlight Glimmer, who claimed that Nightmare Moon appeared to her, and told her to continue the legacy of the Lunar Republic. At first it was recognize by the public as an activist group that helped the poor and in need. However as years went by, rumors speculated about negative brainwashing, pony rights violations, and Starlight focusing more and more about her believes than Moon’s. So Celesta, who was against the cult to begin with, tried to get rid of it and erase everyone’s memories, but failed. Starlight and thousands of followers fled to the mountains where they found the appropriately named Our Town, where they were separated from non believers. Although the cult as fallen, rumors say they still exist in egalitarianism as their policy is “separate but equal”. Beware…
