Ok, so I sketched both him and the Applejack child a few months ago, before I watched Centaurworld (which y'all should ALL WATCH) BUT. THIS GUY FITS THE SONG FROM IT PERFFECTTTLY. A creepy eerie magical foil to gritty salt of the earth Lone Rider (these two are going to the same commissioner). He never speaks and hides his glowing red eyes with his hair, he enters a town and leads all the children into the lake with a sweet song….or something creepy like that, you know? He really seems like a peter piper type evil villain, maybe he steals the magic from everyone in a town after lulling them to sleep with a lullaby…
2) Lone Rider (Applejack x Grogar)
the commissioner originally asked for these characters to be based off this specific Stephen King book which I tried to listen to but was a little too gory for me (which, duh, considering the author). BUT I THINK I STILL CAPTURED THAT GRITTY SUPERNATURAL COWBOY FEEL. Can't you just imagine this guy running through the desert from town to town? Pulling up to a bar and asking if anyone's sighted anything…unusual round these parts. Westerns are something I'm not particularly interested in but I also don't dislike. My fav is the cheesy over the top crossover stuff, like Cowboys and Aliens. His scarf designs are based on the patterns on jorongo/serape blankets, also known as western/mexican blankets. I knew them as western blankets, I had to do a little research to find the original name…one of these days I'll really get sucked into the unique blend of cultures and history that the western genre encapsulates i know it
3) Jim (Gilda x Rainbow Dash)
Huh? OK, this guy is from this old adopt sheet ADOPTABLE AUCTION: Ponytails (6/9 OPEN). I almost dropped the ball on this one, luckily the person still wanted him a few months later. IF I EVER LOSE YOUR COMMENT PLEASE MESSAGE ME I'M VERY SCATTERBRAINED!! The person who bought them named them Jim according to toyhouse which. brings me a lot of joy idk why just the idea of a griffon named Jim. PERFECT
