They had old fashioned rituals and traditions, that were looked down upon by a lot of ponies, for example; eating meat and the Proof of Adulthood, in which unicorns that became 20 years of age had to spend a full week in the Everfree Forrest, alone. Lots of unicorns came back scared for life, some even didn't, but when you did the village had a part for 3 full days, to celebrate a pony becoming an adult. But because of the "older" unicorns believes in "pure lineages" the pure breed is slowly dying out.

They married 3 years later in Grifindia (again sorry)* and when Equinea heard she was carrying a foal another 3 years later, they both settled down in a village in Norhay (These are so bad omg.) and a tiny little colt named Leo was born.

She of course wouldn't be able to just switch to a powerful form like an alicorn or draconequise and use their kind of magic, she can only take others visual form and even than she often needs to learn how to handle it, her magic always stays the same.When changing to an Pegasus for example she won't suddenly have Pegasus magic, she will need a spell to switch part of her magic to Pegasus magic, while still keeping enough to switch back. She will never be as strong as an actual Pegasus/eathpony/griffin etc. and not nearly as strong as anything more powerful. Her main colours usually stay at least close to her original coat. She is able to also switch colour or atleast working on it, but it takes allot of energy that isn't necessary. A full transformation takes allot of energy and can usually only last for an hour or two, depending on the form. RJ can also switch single bodyparts, like a different tail, leg etc. RJ is able transform others too, but finds this much harder than on her self.

While still being social, she did found out that she preferred allot of time on her own at this age, and struggled a while finding a good balance. She became less obsessed with the idea of form changing and decided to study general magic. While she was still clever, she didn't have a photographic memory or anything, she had to study hard, to get where she is now. She entered college and choose, education programs (I have no idea how to call it in English) like "Behavior of magical entities" and "Biology". Here she found out about her old hobby again and that her spells weren't a 100% harmless if practiced on other living beings. Entities, she would change, would still function as it would in it's original form and would not acclimatize. For example, a squirrel wouldn't know how to fly, if it was changed to a bird. It had to be learned how, as it would miss the birds basic instincts. After this she stopped practicing on others like plants and willing creatures and start experimenting on herself. In these years she would also enter a program that would observe the changeling society abroad, which helped allot with her studies. After this she decided to start traveling, to learn more from other ponies/creatures around the world.
