Description:

Meet the Goth Ponies! Double Rose — Black — Right From left to right: Snow Hope, Moonlight Raven, Funnel Web, and Inky Rose. Dark, gloomy, dreary, dismal, and being represented by misunderstood animals, these four ponies aren't all about sunshine, rainbows, and lollipops. But you got to admit they're pretty cool, in a dark and Gothic way. And what's more, Rarity knows this somber quartet.

Moonlight Raven was one of Rarity's customers at her Canterlot Boutique. This tenebrous-maned Unicorn beauty eventually found the dress of her dreams — Over the Moon, the Princess Luna inspired gown that reflects her gloominess. When Rarity was hosting her Couture du Future fashion contest at the Carousel Boutique, she invited three fashion contestants: Lily Lace, Starstreak, and Inky Rose. For the contest, Lily Lace presented designs inspired by bird songs, Starstreak looked to more cutting-edge and "futuristic" designs, and Inky Rose's designs incorporated mostly black and dark colors. Inky's fashion sense might be a little dreary, but it's the coolest for some ponies, especially the Goths. Even Funnel Web harnessed the darkness during the contest as Inky's model. If her jacket, hoodie, and dark denim were chillingly cool enough, then her bat clips are pretty sweet. Even Rarity's Manehattan branch boutique, Rarity for You, got goth ponies visiting. Besides Moonlight Raven and Inky Rose, there was Snow Hope. Even Fluttershy, with her Goth persona, could tell that jet black is the only color that truly encapsulates his tormented soul. At least his hooves aren't replaced with scissor blades, though he might make a really good ice sculptor. These four might be all about darkness, black, spooky animals, Gothic literature, black roses, and feeling down, but they're pretty awesome. And for some, they're really lovely.

Goth Ponies by me

This has the Goth Ponies smiling. I originally planned on uploading this last year after uploading the first with them frowning, as I thought it would break the stereotypes of Goths being apathetic and melodramatic. Sorry for the delay. If you prefer them smiling or frowning let me know.
