After putting the warmer clothes away in your equipment chest, you take a quick look around your bedroom. It feels like so long ago that you first awoke here in your new house, all on your own. And now, with all of the friends you've made since then, it truly does feel like home.
That said, you wouldn't mind having a reminder of the lay of the land. You reach into your nightstand's upper drawer, and retrieve the two rolled up maps you left in there, before heading back downstairs.
You get Map of Everfree Forest, and Map of Hoofington.
Apple Basket: "Well, this sure is a nice house! You two live here together?"
You thank Apple Basket, and admit that you haven't had all that much time to live together before you had to leave on your adventure.
Moonflower: "Yuh uh! I got my own lil' house in Starfalls Town, too, but this is way better!"
Apple Basket: "Right. But say, if you're gonna try an' be your town's new Oracle, shouldn't you go live there with 'em, too?"
Moonflower: "What? But I don't wanna! I wanna keep goin' on adventures with Blazer! … Oh, but I guess I gotta if I wanna help my clan, too…"
Moonflower lets out a wistful sigh, and a little pout. You try cheering her up with an affectionate hug, and some nuzzles on top. It seems to help.
Apple Basket: "Sorry, I uh… didn't mean it like that."
Moonflower: "S'okay. S'jus' that… after spendin' all this time with my best friends, goin' back to bein' alone is kinda rough."
You assure Moonflower that as long as you're around, she won't be alone. Then, you add that surely, as an Oracle, she will meet many new friends. Perhaps even a best friend or two. Or twelve. The bat pony's eyes go wide at that thought.
Moonflower: "Whoa‼ I didn't even think of that! I could have all the best friends…"
Apple Basket: "Shucks. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you two were sisters or somethin'."
You all have a chuckle at that. And with the mood brightened once more, you resume tidying up your saddlebags.
You store 2 Hair Dye Removers, and Small Waterproof Stuffed Dolphin Toy.
As you place your stuffed dolphin toy up on a shelf in the wet room, Moonflower pulls out her own stuffed dolphin toy, and puts it next to yours. Then, looking at the two cuddling dolls, she nods approvingly.
