"Looks like it's time to jump on the bandwagon I secretly created. Yep. The whole Fluttermop thing was my doing. I suppose an explanation is in order.
So last month in my Ceramics class, I saw a mop sitting in the wall and thought it looked a little like Fluttershy, given the colors it had. I took a picture of it and showed it to my friends on Discord and they thought it was funny. I posted the image to Twitter to see if anyone would notice. Whether through sheer dumb luck or crazy coincidence, PrinceWhatever (yes, you heard right) found my image and posted it to his Twitter where it blew up, and after reaching out to him, that image began to blow up. Soon my friends were sending me art made of Fluttermop and my original post became one of my most viewed Tweets (besides that shitpost drawing of Sunny, Izzy, and Twi). It felt really good. I would have done some art around the time of its peak, but I was in the mists of Novoember. Well better late than never right?
I'm still a bit flabbergasted that Fluttermop blew up the way it did. I felt so humble over the whole thing. It'll probably be my only big contribution to this fandom. And there's still art of the mop being made. Granted it's not on the same frequency as it was last month, but still."
