Chantal Strand has a unique, versatile voice. She really shines in the MLP:FiM episode “Crusaders of the Lost Mark”, where she voiced both Diamond Tiara and her mother Spoiled Milk-Rich. Significant double casting, even their Cutie Marks incorporate diamonds. Diamond Tiara was not only raised to be as unyielding as a diamond, but is also under heavy pressure from her mom’s high expectations. Spoiled Rich’s Cutie Mark (a wedding ring), on the other hoof, implies that she’s a gold digger, especially considering that she married into the Rich family.

Strand also voiced Bijou, a French hamster who loves Hamtaro. Her name means jewel, and is nice even with her owner’s extra luxuries. Kind of like what Diamond Tiara is now after her heel-face turn. Bijou sounds like Strand’s other pink role, Cassie from Dragon Tales, but with a French accent.

Another role I remember from Strand was Molly in Generation O!. (And what do you know, Kathleen Barr, Cathy Weseluck, Tabitha St. Germain were in that show, too!)
