Buttermilk is fun to draw~
Muffin needed more light plus she's just as easy to draw too //sweats


Both are earth ponies and within a few years, they will have become the strongest ponies.

Buttermilk is not considered bulky and that's understandable, she couldn't buck apples off the thick trees without spraining a leg, but when she reaches a certain age, most likely a teen, she'll have a chance to prove herself to be more useful around Apple Acres. But for now, she's enjoying maintaining care with the animals, favoring the cows and goats.
She's also naturally pretty but doesn't think much of it or believe herself to be. The fillies at school aren't liking this as most of the foals swoon over her, but Buttermilk didn't ask for the attention and felt discouraged about making friends in school because of this. She grew to be socially awkward and ignored everyone, even the genuine ponies, who tried to talk to her. Most take it the wrong way as her being 'too cool' or thinking she was better than them, anything to twist her quiet timid nature into something nasty about her. But because she gives nothing away about herself the bullies couldn't really spread gossip about her, at least not yet.


Muffin lives in the kitchen. When she was 4, she kept close to her mama, Pinkie Pie, and watched her whip up all kinds of delicious sweets in all shapes and sizes. For years she kept a sharp eye on her mother and when it was close to Pinkie's birthday, Muffin asked her papa, Cheese Sandwich, if she could help with the cake. And of course he said yes! Together, they baked a beautiful, cooked cake for Pinkie and when it was presented to her, Cheese said Muffin knew all the ingredients for the cake and did most of the work (Cheese monitored her and made sure she didn't drop eggs in the bowls).
Pinkie didn't stop crying for a while as she hugged her youngest daughter and stuffed more of her precious homemade cake in her mouth.
She kept finding herself baking a variety of things in the kitchen and was eager to help with getting supplies for things that would run out in the Cake's store. Not only that, but a visit every month to the Pie Family has Muffin become attached to Lime Pie, the eldest sister of the triplet Pie sisters.
Muffin has a fair muscle mass thanks to her working around the house and having the strange yet magical properties passed down from Pinkie Pie. At her current age, she can break smaller stones and chip a medium-sized boulder. With time, she'll build up more muscle to possibly split large boulders in half, but that's speculation.
She doesn't make friends, her twin brother does, and that's fine with her. But the ponies her brother tries to befriend are usually out to tease him or manipulate him, sometimes even harass them both, and at first Muffin wasn't able to do anything because her brother Coffee insists that they'll get there and be part of the group. But that didn't happen. Muffin found her brother crying near the oak tree, dull and grey, scuffled up. His 'friends' didn't want anything to do with him. And Muffin was mad. If her brother couldn't have friends, then she'll didn't think she could make friends either.


Meeting one another, Butter and Muffin didn't click right away but they did seem to find each other's line of sight. Wary as they should be, the fillies didn't interact with each other but started drawing closer and closer to each other. It's slow, but there could be something there. They just need to speak up, if they can.
