> **Like his twin sister Tavia, he is completely blind from birth but also has a lot of other health complications. It is still unknown to this day what happened during Princess Celestia's birth to both foals to have become completely blind, for Equinox to be unstable health wise and also for him to possess an unusual tail for a pony.
> Incredibly shy, fragile and sick a lot of the times, he hardly ever gets the time to go out and make friends, so he stays indoors in the comfort of his bedroom. However, he does occassionally come out when he is in need of that little bit of company.
> His other senses are incredibly sharp: Feeling vibrations to detect things around him (like Toph from Avatar). Due to him being blind he had to adapt to using other types of support.
