There’s fans of the 2016 movie, even though it was far from perfect.
The 2021 movie is really dang great, and will definitely garner a cult following.
But if you were to twist my arm, sure, I’ll pick the…ahem, “THE Suicide Squad” over “Suicide Squad”. Whoever decided to name these movies deserves to be sacked

It's difficult not to enjoy a movie that has so much fun with itself and it's concept, and you can tell in how it was put together that James Gunn was very much unleashing all the frustration he was going through with his Twitter cancellation and (temporary) removal from directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. I can't be the first one to point out how the final battle of the movie happens against a mindless mob of faceless individuals, controlled by an even bigger faceless mass with unreasonable (though clear) motivations.
Great movie. Check it out! It's my review in five words.
