You hurry over to Apple Basket, who is still carrying an unconscious Moonflower, and ask him what happened.

Apple Basket: "Trailblazer! I couldn't rightly tell you. When that thing showed up and gave everypony a fright, her eyes lit up real bright, jus' like before. I got to her right as she passed out."

Mare: "May I take a look?"

You turn to find a group of three ponies having made their way to over you; Crystal Charm, Starbolt, and a unicorn mare with a blue coat and purple hair.

Mare: "I don't think we've met. My name's Winter Berry, I'm with the Hoofington militia as a medic."

At the mention of a medic, you give way to the unicorn. Her horn begins to glow a bright orange, and a magic light briefly pulses over Moonflower's body.

Winter Berry: "Hmm… at first glance, her vitals seem perfect, and I don't sense any injuries. That's good. Her magic pool is awfully empty, though, but it's recovering at a normal rate.

How strange. I've never seen anypony in this state before other than unicorns, and that was after casting powerful spells and fainting from the exhaustion. Is there any bed she can use nearby?"

You nod, and after picking up Moonflower's satchel, you point to her house on the other side of town.

Winter Berry: "Sounds good. Will you be carrying her?"

Apple Basket: "My legs are still a bit shaky after what jus' happened, but I think I can get her there."

With that settled, you begin to follow the roads south and west across town, lit by the amber light of Crystal Charm's magic. On the way, a few worried villagers stop by to ask about the condition of their oracle.

Mindful mare: "Oh dear! Is she alright?"

Sarcastic stallion: "Hey! Where are you taking her?"

Winter Berry: "She'll be fine. We're just taking her home to get some rest."

Fretful filly: "Maybe she ate too many mushrooms."

Before long, you make it back to the humble hut that Moonflower calls home. Once inside, you set Moonflower's satchel on the table. Winter Berry carefully levitates the little bat pony off of Apple Basket's back, and onto the soft bed.

Winter Berry: "There. Now, whether she'll wake up in a matter of minutes, or hours, I couldn't say. I'll be staying in the area and checking in every now and then, just in case."

You thank Winter Berry for the help. The unicorn nods and smiles in return, then makes her way back outside to rejoin the others by the town entrance.

Crystal Charm: "Well, I'm glad we were able to make it here in time. You know, that was in no small part thanks to that new entrance you uncovered, Blazer."

You tell Crystal Charm that you were glad for the help, too, yet you can't help but wonder how the militia knew about the danger, let alone arrived so quickly.

Crystal Charm: "You'll have to ask Sapphire Kite about that. All I know is that they needed my ice enchanting spell on hoof."

Starbolt: "Actually, what happened is… I overslept. The details are still fuzzy, but I remember Moonflower appearing in my dream. She had the distinct aura of an oracle.

And then, she told me that a grootslang was attacking Starfalls, and asked me to call for help. I woke up with her words still ringing in my ears, and somehow, I knew it wasn't just a dream. So I did."

Crystal Charm: "Are you saying that little Moonflower here has the ability to visit ponies in their dreams? Like Princess Luna does?"

Starbolt: "That's my guess. Each oracle is granted a unique power, though, so it's hard to say without a doubt."
