Yeah I know, mostly it's just attempting to validate the importance of diversity, which is actually expressing their conditioning to the propaganda that used the importance of diversity to get into their heads.

It's understandable that humans would want to draw humans, and some humanization is very good. There's just so much art of humans, and I like it when people can stretch their imaginations beyond that and explore what it means to be decidedly not human.

I still say the whole hijab thing is anti-Islam, because it's making Muslims look like they're tumblrinas.

I've seen some cute and attractive humanizations. This Tumblrina style abomination isn't one of them. The pronoun listing doesn't make any part of this any better, either.

The elements of Bad Tumblr Fanart Style Character Design, by the way, are:

masculine features on female characters
obesity
ambiguously brown
grotesque tattoos and facial piercings on characters that did not have them in canon
Steven Universe bee-sting lips
clothing and hairstyles straight out of a Benetton commercial from 1983, that look nothing like what the characters had in canon
bean brows OR eyebrows that shouldn't be visible through hair
a group shot will usually have at least one character wearing a hijab

Not all are always present in all examples, but in most cases at least six of the nine are present, resulting in "fanart" that isn't recognizably of the character it's supposed to represent. Here we have Twilight Sparkle "reimagined" as a fat Mexican tranny elf. She's not even readily recognizable and I had to squint. She has bangs and a purple skirt, I guess. If this weren't tagged "Twilight Sparkle" I wouldn't have looked twice. I'd assume it was just some fat "gender-fluid" millenial's Deviantart ERP character and not seen any connection to MLP or Purplesmart at all. This is terribad.

Why isn't she a horse?

Why is she an elf, not a horse?

WHY DO PEOPLE FREAKING HUMANIZE EVERYTHING JUST BECAUSE THEY THINK THEIR FANS ARE STUPID AND THEY HAVE TO SELL THEM ON SHALLOW SELF-MASTURBATORY BLAND EGO PROJECTIONS THAT HAVE ALL THE SAME BODY PARTS FFFFFFF

(don't listen to them rainbow the hedgehog they just don't understand our love)
