Grandma Gianna is an old female Griffon from Griffinstone and Grandpa Garvey's wife. She's also the grandmother of Grady and his siblings, and mother of her grandkids' father and aunt. She's indeed friends with her husband's friends and has good terms with all of them, as well as their own wives. Grandma Gianna is rather energetic despite her age, and sympathetic, but also rather unintelligent and absent. She often forgets many little things (ex. how zippers work), sometimes even her own marriage. She's also cross-eyed, which results in her being very clumsy at times. Usually, she is just following her husband's lead for almost everything. However, there are moments when it shows that she's actually smart and strict, like scolding and pulling Grandpa Garvey by the ear when she catches him making fun of Gallus and Grandpa Gruff. During other environments, she often ends up distracted by things like food. Gianna thinks of her husband as an intelligent and reliable spouse, while Garvey thinks of his wife as a dimwitted but lovable spouse. While he knows, she's not the brightest Griffon, he doesn't really mind and isn't angry or aggressive. He just takes it. He describes her personality as carefree, bubbly, and gentle, declaring that even though she can be annoying, she's just too kind to not like and that, even though he doesn't say that a lot, there's no point in him doing anything without her by his side. In fact, she's rarely seen without him. The two face many problems as an old married couple but nevertheless, they love and care for each other. Grandma Gianna is also one of the few Griffons Garvey expresses his feelings to the most (one of the reasons being that his wife doesn't understand much of his ranting).
