One reason why I like Oleander is because of her belief that she needs to make the world a better place, even if it means using dark powers. Of course, she was shunned because of her practice and belief, makes you wonder just how lonely she was after all these years.

In my AU, Sila would actually welcome Oleander using dark magic. Since she also believed that the belief and the practices of Oleander's Order was outdated and wrong, Sila encourages her to continue her use of dark magic.

Oleander made a big mistake with her powers, and so became she resentful of her dark arts. Sila tried to cheer the unicorn, but Oleander retorted by saying that perhaps she was wrong this whole time, that then Order was right about the darkness, and about her. Oleander could not understand why the horse was still supporting she, to which Sila responded that Oleander was simply trying to make the world a better place, for she would accept being banished to save it, and that makes her the best thing to come out of the Woodsland.

To Sila's surprise, Oleander hugged the horse. She was grateful that at least someone would be there for her, even after what she had done. She needed this, and Oleander would not deny it this time. Oleander wished that she will be welcome back to her home, but she knew that they will never accept her, like she does.
