> pinkie is here to throw you a party!!! she's lived in ponyville as resident entertainer/party planner and baker since she was a young filly, soon after getting her destiny. everyone knows her and she knows everyone. the cakes are basically a second set of parents to her (but she considers herself pumpkin and pound cake's aunt). her destiny isn't just "to be a party planner", but more broadly, it's to spread cheer and joy. she doesn't have strong earth pony magic, but , surprisingly, instead has chaos magic. chaos magic can't be passed down (it's chaos magic, it appears erratically), and it manifests in her pinkie sense! she can see short glimpses into the future, her dreams, while random, often have prophetic parts or symbols in them, and she has a VERY keen intuition, as well as being an empath. (see her instant distrust of Our Town and even the premiere, she uses her intuition to sense that the trees that frightened the other ponies weren't dangerous)
