Day2 prompt: Draw a pony leaping to action

That first leap into the sky, knowing this isn't just a glide like all the previous years….

I really hoped this would turn out better, but I ran out of time. It's my fault because I tried a whole lot of things that are very painful for me like foreshortening, wings, and drawing a wide open muzzle with the muzzle raised up. Seriously, looking for references it's pretty clear its not a face position a number of artists like doing, and I totally understand why!

Still there are some aerial pics I really want to do, and the only way I get there is by doing these.
