I love this sketch, and have for a long time. Then I thought how this may translate….
The part I like the most of translating it like this? The phoenix is actually probably not dead. It very well MAY just be resting, and could subvert the whole thing in the end. I'd draw that out, but I'm not doing another multi-panel pic today.
