I've seen a lot of realistic takes on the MLP crew, but I'm bewildered that so many draw them as horses. Doesn't the series say My Little "PONY"? So here is Fluttershy depicted as a winged-Shetland pony with Angel. It felt really good to practice painting a complex background.

I have a lot of good memories associated with MLP- I remember watching the older versions as a little girl and the budding fantasy lover in me at the time was riveted. So imagine my pleasant surprise at finding that the newest generation of MLP is actually really entertaining to watch? I even got my fiance into it. ;)
