let's take it back to the year 2021!! which is when i made this design, so forgive the stylistic shift for an upload. i always really liked this design, and i realized today i never posted it publicly, so i'm doing that now. I've been going through a LOT of my old stuff and there's…so much..i need to post. idk where to start or what's too old to be worth posting so i'm going on vibes alone and personally i still love this whole design/drawing so…ya made the cut kid

this was a custom design commission, the commissioner gave me a palette to work from and an idea for a vampire themed kirin. I listened to a lot of Alanis Morissette while I was finishing this, specifically Jagged Little Pill over and over…so that's what I imagine her voice sounds like. I also still love how i did that lil chibi, the pose is so sassy! I always have a ton of fun drawing extra stuff on reference sheets, it really helps bring the character to life in my opinion.
