Except nobody is failing because they didn't try. Our problems are because other people are stopping us from succeeding. And one of the ways is blaming us for not trying, when they're just trying to get out of their own responsibility for ruining other people's lives. Another way is to act like they'll just run into the perfect partner by chance, to evade being confronted for taking away the tools people need to form relationships.
