> Background: After his defeat in the last tournament, Nightraid began to feel down and made it his goal in order to get stronger. Also in the last tournament, he came across a Vampony named Author Brainstorm, who took an interest in the young Dragon, even helping him train before going on to round 2. After his defeat, he suggested that Nightraid go and train with his adopted Daughter, Dream Vania, who was also participating in the tournament and even became the champion. During their training, Dream Vania sensed Nightraid's sadness and anger swelling inside his heart like a violent storm and takes pity on him. Nightraid asks why she's doing so, only for her to respond that she can feel what he feels and even admitted that she had her fair share of pain. After their training session has ended, Nightraid proceeds to leave, only to be asked back by Dream Vania. Nightraid complies and he, Dream Vania and her mate, Advent Playwright have a picnic. During the picnic, Dream Vania talks to Advent in private about adopting Nightraid, as Dream Vania feels sorry for him. Advent agrees. The two Ponies then confront Nightraid and tell him the news. Nightraid feels is taken back by this act of kindness that he breaks down crying, thanking them. The two Ponies embrace him in a warming hug. After the tournament has ended, the three go onto the top of a mountain proceed to pull out the dark manifestation made from Nightraid's negative emotions and expelled it to the depths of Taurtus, but at the cost of Nightraid's powers. After doing so, they all visit Master Wu Kongo, a mentor who taught Advent, Dream Vania and many others combat. Through grueling training with his parents and Wu Kongo, Nightraid learns a new fighting style, all while regaining his powers.
> Personality: Nightraid was once nihilistic, pessimistic and harbored a deep hatred of the world due to his troubled past, but after being reformed by his new family, Nightraid's outlook on life has changed for the better, as he is seen opening up to others. Despite this however, he still does possess a serious demeanor and can be solitary at times, but he can appreciate the positive and silly aspects of Ponies or other creatures. Nightraid is not above killing should the situation call upon it, as he can be quite merciless in battle should his opponent(s) tries to harm him or those he cares about. He also has a habit of holding a grudge, as this is evident as he holds one against the one who beat him in the last tournament. He also has severe anger issues, as he tends to snap into a blind rage should the situation call upon it, other than that, he's quite calm and reserved. Due to not possessing any fur, Nightraid enjoys the feel of fur or manes against his scales, this is evident as he enjoys laying on or near his mom, dad or grandparents. Lastly, he also has a fear of being unaccepted by the Pony community, as he was shunned in the past and doesn't want to relive the same traumatic experience.
> Appearance: Nightraid's physical appearance is no different from the standard Dragon, the noticeable differences are that his scale color is as black as night, red eyes with a red, flame-like aura radiating from his left eye and a demonic arm with a sharp claw strong enough to cut through strong materials with 3 sharp spikes protruding out of his shoulder. His new style consist of a short sleeved hooded gray cloak, with black pants and black cloth wrapped around his waist.

> Demonic transformation: Unlike Nightraid's previous transformation that was brought upon from his negative emotions, his new transformation is brought upon by his powers alone, which means that upon transforming he doesn't become more violent, angry or malicious. his new transformation has all the perks of his previous demonic form (increased strength, speed, agility, being able to fly/hover longer & igniting those who grabs onto his body in crimson flames, etc), but it's weaker as his dark side made it more powerful by injecting dark energy into Nightraid with each passing minute of him being in the form. Despite having this ability, Nightraid only uses it when faced against a powerful foe.
> Wu Kongo's Fighting Style: Being trained under Wu Kongo & his parents (who were also trained by) Nightraid now utilizes a balance of both offense & defense when in battle, observing his opponent's movements before making his own, like his mother before him. His fighting style appears to be a mixture of both Taijutsu & Jiu Jitsu.
> Flight: Like all dragons who possess wings, Nightraid is capable of flight. However, due to his wings being underdeveloped, he can only fly/hover above the ground roughly 20-25 feet for a span of 5-6 minutes before being grounded.
> Intangibility: Nightraid is able to pass through solid matter. However, he can only use it for 5 seconds as it uses up a lot of energy.
> Teleportation: Nightraid is able to teleport in a black mist, however, he can only teleport only the furthest his eyes can see.
> Firebreath: Like other Dragons, Nightraid is able to breath streams of flames and launch fireballs, the only difference being is that they're crimson in color.
> Darkness/shadow manipulation & generation: Nightraid is able to bend and control the darkness and shadows to his will, able to create just about anything he wants from it, even living creatures. Should no darkness or shadows be present however, Nightraid is able to generate it from his body and have it expand over a small area, but this requires both time and lots of energy in order to perform. He is also able to use this to form objects such as a mass of darkness in the form of a black sphere over him, which acts as a shield.
> Demon arm: Nightraid's demon arm isn't only able to slice through tough materials, it is also able to extend roughly 35-40 feet in length with the claw increased in size to grab onto either object and or opponents. He is capable of forming it into a sharp demonic blade and have it unravel into 8 tendrils that can extend and impale targets as well.
> Energy attacks: Nightraid is able to fire out red energy blasts & energy waves from out of his hands, causing a explosion upon impact. During his demon transformation, the blast turn blackish red, and is able to fire red eye beams, which also can explode on impact.
> Blackhole creation: When in his demon form, Nightraid is capable of generating black holes that are 5 feet in diameter. Anypony or anything that's near it is spaghettified (but not killed) then sucked in and ends up in Nightraid's Dark Dimension, completely reformed. Nightraid only uses this technique as a last resort as it uses up large amounts of energy to form it.
> Roar of hatred: In his demon form, Nightraid is able to roar loudly, causing both a intense and powerful shockwave.
> Dark Vision: Nightraid is able to see perfectly in darkness.
> Regenerative healing factor: Nightraid is able to heal from just about any sort of wound, the amount of time it takes to heal though depends solely on how big the wound is. Small ones heal instantaneously, medium ones heal in 2-4 minutes, and large ones heal in 5-10 minutes. While in his demon form, the time it takes to heal is slightly faster. When he does heal from his wounds, black mist is seen reforming his body. Many believe him to be immortal to this ability, but this is not the case, should he be vaporized or have his head damaged (such has being sliced in half or severe head trauma) then he would succumb to these and die.
> Dark Dimension: Due to his ability of controlling the darkness and shadows, he is able to create a pocket dimension of pitch black darkness. In this dimension, it is a vast realm and can go on seemingly eternity. Any light source sucked into the dimension is immediately destroyed as well as it being very cold. Nightraid can use this ability in conjunction with both his demon arm, blackhole creation and darkness creation (should it not be night time or in a dark area) and through the use of his demon arm, can drag anything or anyone into the dimension where they cannot leave until Nightraid chooses to release them.
